AIM AIR at Oshkosh
July 30 2009
Each year in July, hundreds of
thousands of aviation enthusiasts gather in Oshkosh, Wisconsin for
the world largest aviation event. Sponsored by the EAA
(Experimental Aircraft Association), the Oshkosh event has a long
and exciting history. Thousands of aircraft “fly-in” for the week,
and every imaginable vendor and manufacturer in the industry is
there.
Remarkably, the event organizers chose to highlight “mission and humanitarian flying” this year. The International Association of Mission Aviation took advantage of the special emphasis and put up the “Fly for Life” tent front and center on the grounds. AIM AIR took a little extra effort to make a presence in the IAMA tent, and our reps are manning a table featuring a new brochure and video we put together especially for the event.
You can view that video here on the website.
AIM AIR hopes to pass on a little of what our “heart for ministry” is all about to whomever stops by, and we pray that God will use it. More than one missionary aviator got his start walking past a table in the grassy fields of Oshkosh.
